Core Values

Corporate Social Responsibility

As a socially conscious institution, we believe we have a responsibility to our students, alumni, employees, local communities, and society as a whole. We strive to make an impact in the world that goes well beyond our bottom line.

Diversity Statement

At American College of Education, we believe that the best learning environment for students and staff is one in which we encounter viewpoints and experiences that are different, yet complementary to ours. This environment is fostered by the presence of persons with diverse backgrounds.  While a necessary precondition, diversity is in and of itself, insufficient.  To create and maintain a truly inclusive learning community, we must strive to make all feel equally valued.  We may celebrate diversity, but we “live” inclusion.

Non-Profit Partnerships

Our commitment to social responsibility is also manifest in our partnerships with non-profit organizations that provide services or materials to individuals in their local communities across the country.

Our History: A History Grounded in Innovation

Founded in the digital age, since 2005 American College of Education has been committed to providing high-quality degree and non-degree programs for working professionals in education, healthcare, nursing and business. In early 2013, ACE launched its first doctoral-level degree programs, the Education Specialist (Ed.S.) in Leadership, and the Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Leadership. In addition, the College introduced the Master of Arts in Teaching (M.A.T.) and Transition to Teaching (T2T) programs, which lead to initial teacher licensure in Indiana. ACE has continued to grow into additional fields, such as healthcare, nursing and business. In 2014, ACE welcomed its first healthcare students and the department has since expanded to include degrees at all levels. In 2018, ACE added the RN to MSN as its first nursing program and the department has continued to grow upon receiving CCNE accreditation in 2020. In business, ACE added the B.S. in Applied Management to its program offerings in 2020. More business programs are being planned for the near future.
