System thinking for business optimization relates to systems thinking as a lens for making sense of the growing complexity endemic in the business world. Students are equipped to look at an organization’s current performance, and its future, in terms of wholes and relationships, instead of splitting the world into parts. Students will develop plausible scenarios of how, in light of current trends and patterns, an organization’s future might unfold. Students will then construct a socio-technology plan designed to prepare an organization to both anticipate and benefit from impending change.
