ACE Agreement Internal Benchmark
Description This indicator can be calculated for any 5 item likert scale that is used in ACE’s surveys
Calculation The average reported score of the “top box” likert item is higher than 60%.

Cumulative Completion Rate
Description The number of students graduating in each program and degree level, using expected time-to-completion for their program. 
Calculation Percent of graduates completing by the measurement point.

Key Terms Cumulative Completion Rate
Notes If a student transfers programs, but remains at the same degree level, they are only counted once in the calculation. The specialist level programs are designed to offer transfer pathways to and from the doctorate programs, therefore, the college expects to see a higher percentage of transfers out of that level.

Employer Satisfaction
Description The seven ranked areas: content knowledge, ethics, assessment, leadership, prof. development, multicultural perspective, technology skills.
Calculation Percentage of employer rankings of ACE graduates as “Above Average” or “Excellent” on seven job-performance areas.

Graduation Rate
Description This metric establishes rates of completion based on a student’s initial enrollment in a cohort, using expected time-to-completion for their program and the most current start cohort for reporting (e.g., 2017 start cohort for the master’s level). 
Calculation Percent of graduates in a given start cohort completing within a fixed window of time.

WYR Score
Description This score measures student experience and helps to predict potential future growth. All students are asked to rate the “Would You Recommend” item on a 0-10 scale. 
Calculation All scores are divided into 3 groups; Promoters, Passives, and Detractors. Subtracting the percentage of Detractors from the percentage of Promoters yields the WYR Score, which can range from a low of -100 (if every student is a Detractor) to a high of 100 (if every student is a Promoter)

Notes Any WYR score above 0 is “good”. It means that your students are more loyal than not. Anything above 20 is considered “favorable”. Anything above 50 is “excellent”, and above 80 is “world class”.  Also referred to as the Net Promoter Score.
