Master’s Level Certificate

Certificate Description

This program examines the use of telehealth technologies to support remote healthcare delivery, patient and provider health-related education, public health, and health administration. The goal of this program is to provide healthcare administrators, leaders, and managers with telehealth best practices and an overview of the role of telehealth in improving access to medical services, increasing efficiencies in health organizations, and improving patient outcomes.

Certificate Outcomes

  1. Assess telehealth technologies for operational impact using data to inform decisions.
  2. Promote cultural competency and diversity within the context of telehealth services.
  3. Apply best practices in developing, leading, and managing telehealth programs.
  4. Use ethics best practices and legal principles in telehealth programs.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Telehealth Certificate is to provide healthcare administrators, leaders, and managers with an affordable, application based program that provides an overview of telehealth best practices and the role of telehealth in improving access to medical services, increasing efficiencies in health organizations, and improving patient outcomes.
