BUS6583 - Systems Thinking for Business OptimizationCredits: 3 Complex organizations operate as interconnected systems where decisions in one area produce intended and unintended consequences across the whole. This course applies systems thinking to make sense of organizational complexity, using applied research and case-based inquiry to investigate a real organizational challenge across the term. Students will develop scenarios anticipating how current trends and patterns may shape organizational futures, evaluate the socio-technical implications of emerging technologies and disruptions, and produce integrated socio-technical strategies that prepare organizations to anticipate and benefit from impending change.
