Parking and Mobile Device Allowance

Parking Allowance

Although employees at ACE predominatley work remotely, there are employees who report to one of the corporate offices regularly.  Employees reporting to the Dallas office 3 or more days per week will receive a paid parking pass for the surface lot. Employees reporting to the Indianapolis office 3 or more days per week will receive a paid parking pass for the garage. Employees reporting to both Dallas and Indianapolis less than 3 days per week will be given daily passes to use.  Employees, vendors, and partners who periodically visit either office will also be given hourly or daily passes as needed.

Mobile Device Allowance

Field Operations employees of ACE may be required to use their personal mobile devices for work purposes when authorized by employee and management. Personal mobile devices include personally owned cellphones or smartphones.

Employees authorized to use personal devices under this policy will receive a monthly stipend of $75 (paid biweekly in the amount of $34.62). This stipend is authorized and approved by the CFO. If an employee obtains or currently has a plan that exceeds the monthly stipend, ACE will not be liable for the cost difference. Furthermore, if an employee accrues any costs that exceed the stipend, ACE will not be liable for the cost difference.

Employees authorized to use personal devices are expected to follow applicable local, state and federal laws and regulations regarding the use of mobile devices at all times. Because the nature of Field Operations and Recruiting requires travel on a regular basis, employees are expected to refrain from using their personal device while driving. This includes slow or stopped traffic. Employees who may be charged with traffic violations resulting from the use of their personal devices will be solely responsible for all liabilities that result from such actions.

ACE is not responsible for loss or damage of personal devices.
