Workplace Safety and Security Guidelines


Each employee is expected to obey safety rules and to exercise caution in all work activities. Examples of safety rules include:

  • Know the location of all emergency exits, alarms and fire extinguishers, and familiarize yourself with the proper procedures for using them.
  • When you leave our premises after business hours, make sure that all entrances are properly locked and secured.
  • Do not permit visitors on our property or on our customers’ properties without receiving the proper authorization. Authorized visitors must have an ACE escort with them at all times.
  • Maintain the security of your work and documents - never give anyone your passwords and/or pass codes. If you notice anything suspicious, notify your supervisor or local management immediately.
  • You are prohibited from possessing a weapon and/or any other dangerous device on ACE’s property and all customer locations. However, ACE is not prohibiting an employee who is licensed to carry a concealed handgun from such possession in  any parking area provided by ACE for employees as required by Section 52.012 of the Texas Labor Code and Indiana Labor Code IC 22-8-1.1-1: Indiana Occ upational Safety and Health Act (IOSHA).
  • You are prohibited from consuming or possessing any illegal substance while conducting company business or on ACE property. If you are found to be in violation of ACE’s safety standards, you could be subject to corrective action up to and including termination.
