Our History and Ownership

Our History

ACE was founded in 2005 with the express purpose of providing educators a way to advance their own education with high-quality, advanced degrees that do not strain their finite time and financial resources. With programs developed in the digital age by educators, for educators, ACE is committed to leveraging the internet and digital resources to create efficiencies that alleviate financial and geographical burdens. In 2018, we expanded on that commitment with the addition of the RN to MSN program, an accelerated program that allows nurses to earn a bachelor’s degree on the way to a master’s. True to our roots, the nursing program was developed by nurses, for nurses.

Since its inception, ACE has operated entirely online, providing 24/7 access to coursework that helps expedite time to completion and eliminates the cost of campus infrastructure traditionally subsidized by tuition.  This allows ACE to focus financial resources on the development and maintenance of high-quality programs grounded in evidence-based content and relevant application.

Today, ACE confers more than 1,000 graduate degrees and certificates annually to working professionals who can immediately apply the skills they learn to the work they do in their classrooms, schools and districts. We are looking forward to conferring degrees on the first class in our RN to MSN program in 2021, knowing they can use their knowledge every day to provide the highest quality care to their patients.
