Employees may not accept any gift with a value of $100 or higher, directly, or indirectly, from a vendor, supplier, or any individual or entity engaged in or seeking to do business with ACE. Cash gifts of any kind are inappropriate and should not be accepted. Gifts received with a value over $100 must be turned over to HR and will be used in a manner benefiting the entire organization, e.g. raffled at an employee function, donated to charity, etc.
Gifts of any kind, cash or otherwise, cannot be accepted from students, family members of students, or anyone representing a student at any time.
Managers purchasing gifts for employees should ensure all gifts are equitable in value and purchased across all members of the team. ACE provides holiday gifts for all employees, so managers should not purchase holiday gifts from their departmental budget.
