Paid Holidays


As a full-time employee, you are eligible for holiday pay as of your date of hire. Part-time employees that work at least 20 hours per week will receive holiday pay in accordance with their regular work schedule.

ACE recognizes the following holidays:

  • New Year’s Day
  • MLK Day
  • Memorial Day
  • Independence Day
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • Day after Thanksgiving
  • Christmas Eve
  • Christmas Day

If a holiday falls on a Saturday, ACE will observe that holiday on the preceding Friday. If a holiday falls on a Sunday, ACE will observe that holiday on the following Monday. If you are scheduled to take time off during a holiday, you will be paid for the holiday instead of using your PTO pay for that one day. To receive holiday pay you must work the scheduled work day before and after the holiday.

Holidays will be paid at your regular pay rate. If you are scheduled to work the holiday, you will receive eight (8) hours of holiday pay and eight (8) hours of regular pay. Paid holiday time will not be counted as hours worked for the purposes of determining overtime. If you leave ACE for any reason, you will not be paid any unused holiday time.
