Personal Appearance and Dress Code

ACE strives to maintain a workplace environment that is well functioning and free from unnecessary distractions and annoyances. As part of that effort, the company requires employees to maintain a neat and clean appearance that is appropriate for the workplace setting and for the work being performed.

Casual dress is the acceptable standard for all employees, however not all causal wear is suitable for the office. Workout clothing, beach wear, cocktail attire, flip-flops, etc. is inappropriate for the office. Dresses and skirts should be an appropriate length and fall no higher than the top of your knee when standing.

More formal/traditional business attire is appropriate based on special business meetings, events, activities, etc. Your manager may request a more formal dress code at his/her discretion.

If your appearance for work is inappropriate, you may be sent home and directed to return to work properly dressed or groomed. Under these circumstances, you will not be compensated for the time away from work.
